Study of the steel corrosion in building pillars in Playa San Juan

About This Project

A study of the corrosion rate and potential of corrosion of steel and the resistivity of the concrete in the pillars of the ground floor of a building located in a marine environment was carried out studied. In addition, the depth of the carbonation front was evaluated and concrete cores were extracted in order to determine the chloride concentration profile by means of controlled concrete grinding (profile grinder) and subsequent potentiometric analysis.
